A branch of the IT Center has opened in the Ellikkala region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan!

In order to implement the Third of the "Five Initiatives" of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, which provides for the creation of conditions for the wide and effective use of computer technologies by the population and youth, attracting young people to entrepreneurship in the field of information technology, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the creation of conditions for the wide and effective use of computer technologies by the population, and especially by young people.

Thus, on August 26, 2020, the solemn opening ceremony of the IT Center took place in the Elikkala region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. A branch of "Uzbektelecom" of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was taken as a building. The IT Center is located in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, in the Ellikkala region, in the city of Buston, on Sh. Rashidov street 8.

In this digital education center, you can study the following IT specialties: 

-Computer literacy; 

-Deep work with MS Office; 

-Languages   of web programming; 

-Basics of graphics and design;

-Creating mobile applications;

-Programming language Python; 

-Mobile robotics based on Arduino and Lego Mindstorms; 

-As well as esports: CS: GO, Dota2, FIFA20.

Courses are available for children and adults between the ages of 9 and 25. 

The opening ceremony was attended by: Khakim of Ellikkala region, Seidakhmat Seidalievich Avezmatov, Head of the regional department of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Timur Reimbaevich Baekeev, Director of the branch of the IT Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Madiyar Elmuratov. Director of the Uztelecom branch in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Kairat Tazhenov, Head of the regional department of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Zhumambet Besinbaev and others.

The IT Center will become not only a center for training relevant IT professions, but also a zone for various events, seminars, lectures and eSports tournaments.

For reference: To date, 42 IT Centers have already been opened in the country. By the end of 2020, it is planned to open 188 IT Centers throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan.
