A meeting with the founder of SummitNext took place in Kuala Lumpur

The delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park, led by the Deputy Minister of Digital Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Jamol Maksudov, concluded a business visit to Malaysia.

During the visit, a number of meetings were held with leading IT companies and representatives of UCSI University. The main objective of the negotiations was to discuss cooperation opportunities and promote the potential of Uzbekistan on the international stage.

Representatives of the Ministry and IT Park met with Mr. Kumar Manu, the founder of Summit Next, in Kuala Lumpur.

Founded in 2020, Summit Next is currently a leading provider of business process outsourcing and consulting services headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, USA. The company has over 350 employees working remotely from India, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

The representatives of the Ministry delegation and IT Park made a detailed presentation of the IT and outsourcing sector of our country, as well as of the wide human resources potential of Uzbekistan, with special emphasis on foreign language skills. In addition, information was provided on the business climate of the country, which allows establishing a company and starting operations quickly and with minimal effort. The parties agreed to continue negotiations in Uzbekistan, and Mr. Kumar was invited to visit the Global Business Services Forum and get acquainted with the technology industry of our country.

Representatives of SummitNext shared that they are considering the possibility of opening an office in the Syrdarya region in Uzbekistan and obtaining the status of an IT Park resident.
