A new IT center has been opened in Khorezm!

To implement the third of the "Five initiatives" of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev, aimed at creation of conditions for comprehensive and useful use of computer technology by the population and the youth, attraction of youth to entrepreneurship in the field of information technology, Ministry for development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the creation of conditions for comprehensive and useful use of computer technology by the population, especially youth.

To create an IT center in the Khazarasp district of the Khorezm Region, an empty building belonging to the Khorezm branch of Uzbektelecom JSC was renovated and equipped with modern equipment, projectors, and other technical means.

The opening ceremony of the IT center was attended by Deputy Minister for the development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan K. Yuldashev, head of the territorial Department of the Ministry Z.Karimov, the khakim of the Khazarasp District U. Masharipov, as well as a group of active young people and teachers-mentors.

In this IT center, you can study such specialties as:

- Computer literacy;

- In-depth work with MS Office;

- Web programming languages;

- Basics of graphics and design;

- Creating mobile apps;

- The Python programming language;

- Mobile robotics based on Arduino and LEGO Mindstorms;

- As well as cybersports: CS: GO, Dota2, FIFA20.

In the future, this IT center will be used by about 20 thousand students of secondary schools in the district, who are studying in grades 5-11, creating innovative developments in the field of information technology, programming, and development of startup projects.

At the same time, the training center is planned to improve the skills of employees of enterprises and organizations.

It is also worth noting that currently on the platform uzbekcoders. Uz 3,018 young men and women are registered in the Khorezm region.
