A series of seminars will be conducted in Namangan on the topic: “One Million Uzbek Coders and what opportunities the youth project offers”

The first seminar was held on January 13, 2021 at Namangan State University.

The Head of the Center for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Khokimiyat of the region B. Akhunbabaev, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Namangan State University D. Kholmatov, the Director of IT-Schools in the Namangan region under IT Park M. Ubaydullaev, as well as employees of the IT Park branch in Namangan, informatics teachers and youth interested in information technology attended the seminar.

During the seminar, the speakers provided the youth with detailed information about the activities of IT Park, the work carried out in our country to develop information technologies and train young programmers, projects implemented in this direction in collaboration with the regional administration.

Particularly, they exchanged views on the activities of incubation centers under higher educational institutions, startup projects, discussed the activities of the “One Million Uzbek Coders” project, as well as the opportunities that these projects offered to young people.

At the end of the event, speakers answered students' questions about training courses in information technology, directions, benefits offered for students, training schedule, software development and so forth.

The next seminars will be held from 14 to 16 January with the participation of employees of the Namangan Civil Engineering Institute, the Namangan Engineering and Technological Institute and the Ministry of Public Education.
