On August 7, 2021, Administration of the Kazan Technical School of Information Technologies and Communications visited IT Park, represented by the director of the technical school, Yuri Bagrov, and the deputy director for research-production and innovation, Damira Ramazanova.
In the meeting also attended Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Egamberdiev, Director of IT Park Farhod Ibragimov, Deputy Director of IT Park for Regional Development Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, Rector of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy Bakhtiyor Makhkamov and others.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for cooperation in the development of IT education for training in the IT industry. In the event, Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Jamshid Egamberdiev emphasized that the Head of State pays great attention to the development of the IT industry, especially education in this sector.
The meeting discussed the activities of information technology technical schools, directions and quality of teaching, as well as the growing demand both in the labor market for graduates of technical schools and among school graduates interested in obtaining practical knowledge and subsequent employment, wishing to study at technical schools.
Director of IT Park Farhod Ibragimov also acquainted the delegation with the activities of IT Park and projects in the field of IT education, and in particular, spoke about such projects as: “One Million Uzbek Coders“ and “Future Skills Uzbekistan“.
Among other things, during the conversation, the development of specialized IT schools and IT centers throughout the Republic was discussed, and the need for international expertise in teaching IT skills. The discussion also touched upon the issues of preschool education in the field of information technology.
Director of the Kazan technical school Yuri Bagrov, in turn, noted the rapid and successful growth of IT Park for 2 years of activity and expressed interest in working together in areas of interest.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange experience in the creation of technical schools, in particular the Technical School at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad Al-Khorezmiy in the city of Urgench, Khorezm region, by analogy with the Kazan Technical School of Information Technologies and Communications. In addition, the parties will jointly work out the concept, methodology and training programs, as well as organize trainings for teachers teaching in technical schools and IT centers throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan based on the expertise of the Kazan technical school.
