AIUB delegation visited IT Park

On April 12, 2022, a delegation from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) arrived in Uzbekistan.  Representatives of the university, headed by the representative of the union of trustees AIUB, Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan from Dhaka, visited IT Park.

During the meeting, Dr. Khasanul and Director of IT Park Uzbekistan Farhod Ibragimov raised questions about education, the post-graduate education system.

IT Park employees presented to the guests an educational project aimed at providing free IT-courses “One Million Uzbek Coders”.

In addition, representatives of the parties exchanged views on the development and strengthening of professional education in the field of IT.

As a result of the meeting, it is planned to open a new export-oriented company by the end of this year to provide services in the field of BPO and software development.

In addition, the parties discussed the possibility of opening an IT-academy in Uzbekistan this year and an IT-university by 2023.

American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) was founded in 1994 in Dhaka.  At the moment, more than 9,500 students study at the university and 350 local and foreign specialists work.

AIUB is accredited by University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, the official higher education body in Bangladesh.
