Behruz Abduvaliyev — An 18-Year-Old Programmer with Extensive Experience

Everyone has their own path into the IT field. Some choose this area out of a love for information technology, while others are interested in the potential for substantial earnings. Today, we will tell the story of a young IT specialist, Behruz Abduvaliyev. He is only 18 years old, but he already has four years of experience in software development under his belt. Currently, he works as a Middle Frontend Developer at Uzcard (GENESIS INNOVATION).

Why IT?

From a very young age, I aspired to independence. Initially worked at a market, selling various goods, but over time, I developed a desire to earn more money while having more free time. Considering my passion for computer games, I realized that only the world of information technology could provide me with the opportunities to achieve these goals.

How did you begin your journey?

At the outset of my journey, I did not have any acquaintances within this field, but I was inspired by an individual working as a system administrator. I secured an internship position with him. Initially, I delved into computer repairs, but I soon became engrossed in programming. My initial steps into web development started with online video courses on YouTube. Very quickly, within just two months, I received my first order and earned my first $200. This spurred me to further pursue this path.

I embarked on my educational journey at Cambridge University in Tashkent, where I successfully completed the first semester. However, at some point, I began to felt that my studies were becoming monotonous and limiting my professional growth and decided to temporarily pause my education.

I have always harbored a desire for learning and self-improvement, and I believe in the significance of education. However, in this situation, considering my experience and goals, it was a decision in favor of professional advancement.

In the future, I intend to resume my education at an American university.

Tell about your professional experience

I have a substantial track record of working in companies from various countries, encompassing over 15 projects. For instance, with a Czech company, we developed efficient CRM systems. In Ukraine, I created a dating website with interesting functionality for locating individuals on a map. In Russian companies I successfully executed projects similar to hh.ru, as well as various Web3 projects. I designed a cryptocurrency exchange platform, encompassing various types of trading (spot, arbitrage, futures).

My adaptability and relentless commitment to continuous improvement have enabled me to adeptly tackle a tackle diverse task.

Regarding working with local companies

I have developed 5 CRM and 2 ERP systems for Uzbek companies, and successfully executed projects within medical institutions such as Akfa Medline and Medion. I have also developed an LMS system for the automation of educational centers.

My recent projects include the creation of a profit, income, and expenditure data tracking system (Wildberries project), as well as a service for obtaining technical support utilizing AI.

Currently, I am working on my online platform for accessing legal assistance with the aid of AI.

About future plans

My long-term plan involves establishing my own startup company in the IT field. I aspire to create innovative products and provide services that will enhance people's lives and address real-world issues. This is my dream, and it is what I am actively working towards.

Advice for aspiring professionals

For those who are just beginning their journey in IT, I would like to offer a few pieces of advice. IT is a field that is constantly evolving, so it is crucial to growing continually. The key is not to confine yourself to theory but to learn how to apply knowledge in practice.

Furthermore, building a professional network is important. Participation in events, conferences, and forums will not only help you acquire new knowledge but also provide opportunities for collaboration. And of course, do not fear making mistakes, as they are an integral part of growth.
