"Demo Day" of the acceleration and incubation program "AloqaTech Lab”

The development of the IT-industry is important for the sustainable growth of the countryʼs digital economy, each successfully implemented startup project contributes to improving the quality of services, improving electronic interaction between the population and business, and also contributes to the creation of new jobs.

As part of the development of the startup industry in the field of digital technologies, “IT Park Uzbekistan”, together with the commercial bank “Aloqabank”, organized the acceleration program “AloqaTech Lab”.

This program is aimed at providing comprehensive support in launching promising start-up projects in the field of financial technologies, e-commerce, digital services and software products.

The acceleration program “AloqaTech Lab” is a three-month accelerator that includes expert services for program participants, as well as technical, financial and marketing support measures to launch their projects.

The program started in May this year and lasted three months. In total, 53 projects were selected in the acceleration program, of which 45 were from Tashkent, and the rest from Samarkand, Fergana, Jizzakh, Bukhara and Namangan regions.

26 startup-projects and 189 participants made it to the finals of the acceleration program. What is especially pleasing is that more than 30 participants in the program are girls.

Separate startup-projects – participants of the AloqaTech Lab were able to attract investments totaling 160 000 US dollars, in particular, the “Sugʻurta Bozor” project for online insurance and the “Coozin” project for delivery services.

Based on the results of the “Demo Day”, start-up projects were identified that have the opportunity to receive investments from the venture fund “AloqaVentures” in the amount of up to 50 000 US dollars.

In addition, 12 startup-projects from the finalists of the “AloqaTech Lab” acceleration program will take part in the Entrepreneurship World Cup 2022 competition, in particular, such projects as “ArzonArenda”, “AgroW”, “Beautify”, “Digital saas”, “Kale”, “Medbox”, “My Dars”, “My Accountant”, “Resttab”, “Slondo”, “TopX” and “Where to go”.
