On July 7th, in Uzbekistan took place the first Digital Leadership Forum, gathering over 300 BPO and IT companies, foreign guests, and experts from around the world.
The forum included a dedicated session on strategic economic development through BPO and IT services. It highlighted the increase in the export of IT services, aimed at showcasing Uzbekistan's potential as the most favorable destination for IT outsourcing.
Representatives of Raya CX, a company generating an annual revenue of $1.3 billion, were engaged in meetings during the session. Additionally, a meeting was conducted with Victor Pereda, the director of NearSol, a BPO company that has a workforce of over 3,000 specialists.
RAYA Customer Experience - is a global provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) and contact center outsourcing (CCO) services. They offer customer experience management, workspace rental, back-office, and digital services to clients worldwide. The company provides its services in 15 different languages and has a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Their goal is to help clients ensure high-quality service and improve customer interactions.
During these meetings, the focus was on discussing the possibility of establishing Raya CX's office in Uzbekistan. The participants explored the option of receiving assistance in obtaining IT Park resident status, and they also delved into discussions regarding the provision of office space equipped with necessary facilities.
Furthermore, there was a discourse regarding providing support in the recruitment and hiring process to ensure the availability of skilled personnel for companies, particularly in supporting NearSol's activities in Uzbekistan.
NearSol is an international BPO company founded in 2006. Their service portfolio includes a wide range of offerings such as customer service, back-office support, marketing, and sales. The company has an annual turnover of $950 million, with its headquarters located in California. They employ over 3,000 staff members.
Distinguished experts from around the world, including Sean McEllin (Regional Director of IDA Ireland and partner at Saviday), Simon Kriss (Chief Innovation Officer of CX Innovation Institute), Stephen Loynd (Founder of Trendzowl), and Ahmed Aboulezz (CEO of Raya CX), participated in a panel discussion on the future of BPO and IT outsourcing.
During the discussion, these international specialists shared their valuable experiences and successful strategies for adapting BPO services to the challenges of globalization. They explored the significant role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in enhancing the customer experience. The experts concluded by providing recommendations to increase the export volume of IT services and shared insights on establishing highly skilled teams to thrive in international markets.
The forum fostered fruitful business meetings and concluded with closing speeches, during which participants expressed their confidence in Uzbekistan's preparedness to emerge as a new outsourcing hub in Central Asia. After the sessions, the attendees were provided with guided tours of prominent IT Park resident companies that specialize in IT outsourcing. These companies include EPAM Systems, ZMT Integrity, Jettruck Logistics, STL Truckers, Revotech, and Dyninno International.
