Director of IT Park met with the youth of Samarkand

On February 3, 2022, IT Park Director Farhod Ibragimov, together with IT Park Samarkand Director Sherzod Yusupov, as well as IT Park resident, head of the “Najot Taʼlim” training center, Temurbek Adkhamov visited the branch of IT Park Samarkand and IT-Centers of the region.

During the visits, the leaders talked with the students of the IT-Centers, and also acquainted the resident with the activities of the IT Park Branch in Samarkand.

In addition, representatives of IT Park visited the College of Information Technologies and Communications, which is considering the opening of a new Branch of IT Park with jobs for 800 people.

It should be noted that Samarkand region is one of the leaders in the development of information technologies. To date, 5 191 graduates have received education in the Samarkand IT-Centers, of which: 4,496 graduates – in computer literacy, 302 – in Frontend, 110 – in Android, 110 – in Graphic&Web Design, 69 – in mobile robotics, 56–Backend, 48 – digitalization and the basics of IT-entrepreneurship.

The Samarkand Branch of IT Park ranks second in terms of the number of residents.  Moreover, 271 530 people from Samarkand are registered on the uzbekcoders.uz platform, of which 141 479 students received participation certificates and 100 278 – became graduates.
