Discussion of the Mechanisms of the Digital Startups Program

For the effective implementation of the Digital Startups Program, approved by Presidential Decree No. PD-357 of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 14, 2024, the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan extend an invitation to representatives of the national innovation ecosystem — including startups, investors, venture funds, and other stakeholders — to provide their insights on the mechanisms of the program.

Your feedback is pivotal in shaping robust tools for supporting startups and advancing the country’s innovation ecosystem. We encourage you to review the draft regulations of the program and share your proposals by completing the questionnaire.

The questionnaire will be open for submissions until December 10, 2024.

1. Regulation on the mechanism for reimbursing expenses related to participation in leading international acceleration programs and training courses in entrepreneurship, business, and corporate governance

2. Regulation on the procedure for allocating investment funds to startup projects that have attracted investments from foreign venture funds

3. Regulation on the mechanism for reimbursing expenses for patenting and registering intellectual property results and trademarks

4. Regulation on the mechanism for reimbursing expenses related to engaging mentors and trainers for entrepreneurial entities implementing incubation and acceleration programs
