Event on digitalization of business was held for entrepreneurs

Uzbekistan Banking Association hosted an event called “Digital Revolution”, dedicated to the development of digital entrepreneurship and intended for all representatives of micro-, small and medium enterprises and those who are interested in entrepreneurship.

The “Digital Revolution” initiative is being implemented with the support of IT Park as part of the “Youth Digital Skills” program in cooperation with the Ministry of ICT, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan and UNDP.

The event was attended by IT Park Deputy Director for Digital Education Abdulahad Kuchkarov and First Deputy Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Agency Mukhtar Shonazarov.  They opened the session with greeting speeches and spoke about the importance of introducing information technologies into the activities of business entities themselves.

As noted at the meeting, today business representatives are focused on introducing digitalization methods, including practical assistance to young and budding entrepreneurs in finding the right and effective strategy for developing their business in this direction.

In the main part of the meeting, IT Park residents made presentations on e-commerce and marketplaces.

Similar events and trainings will be held throughout the country. It is expected that more than 1,000 business entities from the regions of the republic will take part in the meetings, which will improve their skills and receive answers to their questions and consulting services.
