Faces of IT Park: Doniyorbek Kuchkarov - from manager to regional director.

As part of our column “Faces of IT Park”, we continue to introduce you to employees whose career path is worthy of attention, and their devotion to the company inspires honor and respect. And today we would like to present to your attention the head of the Navoi branch of IT Park - Doniyorbek Kuchkarov. He is valuable to the organization as a specialist with unique knowledge and experience in his field.

Doniyorbek is 32 years old. In 2016, he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami.

Our hero has been working at IT Park since December 2020. His career started as an education development manager, and today he has grown to the head of the IT Park branch.

“Having worked in the Tashkent city administration, I realized that I do not see growth in this direction, but I want to develop professionally and move further up the career ladder. I understood that choosing a new profession is an important step, and it should be approached consciously. And at that moment I decided that I needed to leave and develop in a new field. By chance, I found an ad for a job in IT Park, no doubt, I responded to it. After a while, I was invited to the first interview, which I could not pass. A month later, they offered to go for another interview. This time I successfully got a job as a manager in the education department. I was able to show my perseverance and prove my desire to work and grow in IT Park.”

Now Doniyorbek performs a number of official duties, namely:

- Development of proposals for improving the activities of IT Park, as well as active participation in their implementation;

- Organization of work of IT Park and maintenance of accompanying documentation;

- Adaptation and implementation of constructive solutions in the development of the information technology market in the region;

- Organization of strategic planning;

- Setting clear and achievable tasks for employees;

- Participation in improving the knowledge and skills of employees;

- Analysis of the progress of the tasks and making appropriate adjustments;

- Organization of marketing taking into account the needs of the regional market;

- Collection and processing of information on the possibility of establishing contact with potential residents and partners.

Why did you choose IT Park?

Doniyorbek has been working tirelessly for the benefit of IT Park for 3 years now. He notes that despite the obstacles, you need to focus only on your goals and plans, and then you will definitely find methods and solutions to achieve them.

“At the beginning of my career, I did not encounter any particular difficulties, which I am very pleased with. I am always looking for new challenges. My motto is "I see the goal, I see no obstacles", so I try to overcome obstacles with ease. Difficulties temper and shape you into the person that you are. Therefore, I do not perceive them as an enemy, but as a way to grow and achieve more. I can confidently say that I am a person who does not stop there.”

Our hero is motivated by meeting the deadlines for completing tasks and the results of the work done. This gives him a sense of accomplishment and successful achievement of the goal.

Doniyorbek is very proud to work at IT Park. He tries to actively participate in the life of the organization and fulfills his duties with high quality.

“We can confidently say that IT Park has earned a good reputation and still holds leadership positions in the IT field. My goal is to develop in this direction and invest as much as possible for the development of IT in our country, especially in the Navoi region, and to be able to use my skills and be a professional in my field.”

What do you think about the IT sector of Uzbekistan?

According to Doniyorbek, IT is a fast-growing and constantly developing industry that plays a huge role in the global economy. Our hero is sure that this direction will help bring even greater fame to the country.

“The IT-sector is the shortest and most effective way to develop the economy and exports. Today, IT is one of those industries that consistently creates new jobs in Uzbekistan. With the advent of modern projects and requests, the demand for specialists with knowledge of various technologies is growing. The number of IT vacancies is increasing significantly.”

Our hero assures that at the new stage of development of Uzbekistan, large-scale reforms are being carried out to develop the IT sector. The conditions created for the further development of information technologies in Uzbekistan, Doniyorbek continues, will bear fruit in the near future.

“Despite the fact that IT Park is a relatively young organization, in a short time it was able to achieve not only positive results, but also maintain leadership positions in the IT field in our state. Only recently, many people had doubts about expanding ITPark's activities outside of Tashkent. However, branches of IT Park were created in all regions and cities of our republic, where now you can see a huge number of young people interested in gaining knowledge about IT.

In addition, gifted graduates have the opportunity to get a job, as well as participate in start-up project competitions, thanks to which graduates can make themselves known throughout the republic and even the whole world.”

He also mentioned that IT Park is the locomotive of the IT-industry in Uzbekistan, which has become a springboard for the younger generation.

Tell us about your hobbies and dreams

Doniyorbek has a lot of hobbies, so he cannot name just one particular thing.

“I've been fond of football since childhood and I love this sport very much. For several years every weekend I try to go in for sports with my friends, where I can keep in touch with them. I love to combine the pleasant with the useful. I try to devote time to self-development, I read books. In my free time, I watch video tutorials on graphic design and editing, and learn how to create them on my own. Also, I try to spend more time with my family. My greatest inspiration and joy is my son. He motivates to be better and develop more actively.”
