Hackathon: Build Devfest app from IT Park and GDG Tashkent!

IT Park, together with GDG Tashkent, is pleased to announce the first Android hackathon: "DevFest App Hackathon," which will be held in online format

DevFests is an event for the developer community led by Google development teams around the world. GDG is focused on creating a community and learning about Google technologies.

DevFests will cover several products, such as Android, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, Google Assistant, Flutter, machine learning with TensorFlow, and mobile Internet. As part of the hackathon, a Grand opening will be held.

You can apply to participate in the Hackathon until September 23, 2020. The hackathon starts on September 24, 2020. The deadline for completion and delivery of works is October 2, 2020. IT Park and GDG Tashkent are determined to see the most practical, creative, and beautiful applications that will benefit our society.

The event organizers aim to create and support a large IT community in Uzbekistan.

Prizes:

1st place: Amazfit GTS Smartwatch;

2nd place: Google Home Mini 1st generation;

3rd place: Xiaomi Mi Band 5.

Evaluation criteria:

- Code quality - how much your submitted code base meets Android recommendations and General design patterns. The work will also be evaluated against familiar Android and coding standards, such as SOLID, KISS, etc.;

- UI/UX - how good your app's UI/UX design is. To get the highest score, we recommend using Material Design and implementing subtle animations when you need to improve the UX. Other basic UI/UX standards will also be considered;

- Update the Readme file;

- Expand this folder;
