How was the seminar “The Origin of Gamedev in Uzbekistan”?

On June 6, an important seminar dedicated to the development of the gaming industry in Uzbekistan called "The Origin of Gamedev in Uzbekistan" was held at the Tashkent branch of IT Park. The workshop attracted many participants who wanted to learn more about the creation and development of games in the country.

The speaker was Alexander Mukhitdinov, an experienced computer game developer and founder of Cube of Skill.

The training discussed important issues related to the creation and development of the gaming industry in Uzbekistan. Alexander Mukhitdinov shared his knowledge and experience, telling how to create a gaming industry in the country and make it successful in the international market. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of turning Uzbekistan into a leader in the production of games among Muslim countries. He also talked about how 3D helps create video games and why 3D is a useful tool for the job.

The founder of Cube of Skill expressed his views on mobile games, emphasizing that they should not become the main focus of the development of the gaming industry, especially if they want to create full-fledged video games.

“There are currently no PC games in Uzbekistan, while even in Africa they have been developed since the 90s. This is a serious problem and many countries with no gaming industry are actively trying to solve it. An example is Saudi Arabia, which a few months ago invested $38 billion in creating its own game dev. Also last year, the European Parliament recognized the gaming industry as "an integral part of the cultural heritage of Europe" and made significant investments in this area. As a result, after 2 years, the number of gaming companies in Germany grew by 26%, and the gaming market increased by 32% and provided employment for many people.”

The speaker added that his company, Cube of Skill, will make every effort to develop the gaming industry in Uzbekistan and create high-quality 3D PC games based on the Unreal Engine.

The specialist also emphasized the importance of attracting experienced programmers, 3D artists, 3D animators and investors to the country's gaming industry. As Mukhitdinov noted, the gaming industry is complex and competitive, and in order to successfully attract customers, it is necessary to use all available tools, including psychology and advertising.

The seminar "The Origin of Gamedev in Uzbekistan" has become a significant event for the development of the gaming industry in the country. The participants received valuable knowledge and information about the development of computer games and discussed the future of game development in Uzbekistan.
