ICT Ministry and VISA sign a cooperation memorandum

On June 21, Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov, Deputy Minister of Public Education Rustam Karimjonov, CEO of IT Park visited VISA’s office in Washington DC.

The parties discussed the priorities of cooperation with Visa in promoting the development of e-commerce ecosystems, building the capacity of small and medium businesses, and creating a potential partner platform, including online payment systems and other areas.

The delegation of the ICT Ministry also visited the VISA information center and got acquainted with its activities.

Following the meeting, Ministry of ICT and VISA signed a cooperation memorandum regarding the development, digitization and implementation of technologies in ICT sector in Uzbekistan.
