In Uzbekistan, MITC, IT Park and UNDP organize hackathon called  “Voice AI Challenge Uzbekistan”

On December 24-26, 2021, the hackathon “Voice Ai Challenge Uzbekistan” will be held at Inha University in Tashkent, organized by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, IT Park, UNDP in Uzbekistan, together with Inha University in Tashkent, Research Institute for Development  digital technologies and artificial intelligence, and KASH APP.

The hackathon is dedicated to the creation of a digital solution (application, bot, program, etc.) based on voice data in the Uzbek language, which will be collected thanks to the project «Digitization of the Uzbek language using Mozilla Common Voice».

Hackathon participants will have the opportunity to start applying their project and develop a minimum viable product (MVP).   Additionally, within the framework of the hackathon, participants will be accompanied and assisted by experts in the field of information technology.  Participants will be able to find like-minded people and unleash their potential in the field of startups.

At the end of the hackathon, participants will receive valuable prizes from the organizers in the form of laptops, tablets and smartphones.

*The hackathon will take place in the city of Tashkent, in offline format.
