IT Park and OSCE: project - "Assistance in the development of the open data ecosystem in the Republic of Uzbekistan"

In partnership with the Project Coordinator of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), IT Park is implementing the project "Assistance in the development of the open data ecosystem in the Republic of Uzbekistan".

The project's goal is to promote the development of information technologies and digitalization, in particular, to promote and improve the management of open data.

The following activities are expected to be held during the project:

- organizing a training on open data for more than 120 employees of ministries and departments;

- assistance in organizing training for 400 teachers of the subject 'Informatics' at schools throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan in the direction "Open data and data analysis" within the framework of the national project "One Million Uzbek Coders";

- organizing a Hackathon on open data with the participation of trained teachers and high school students in December 2020 in Tashkent city.

As we mentioned earlier, the project trains 120 government employees, 400 school teachers, and 10 school teams to participate in the annual hackathon held at the end of this year.
