On September 14, in the city of Shirin, Syrdarya region, the heads of the IT Park branch and representatives of the khokimiyat, with the support of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, organized a training seminar within the framework of the One Million Uzbek Coders project in order to raise awareness among young people about the importance of this project on the way to becoming demanded IT, specialists.
The event was actively attended by representatives of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, managers and employees of the Syrdarya branch of IT Park and the khokimiyat of the city of Shirin.
For the guests of the training seminar, a presentation was made about the "One Million Uzbek Coders" project, the activities of IT Park and the opportunities provided for obtaining free education in the field of information technology.
We remind you that the "One Million Uzbek Coders" project was launched in 2019 and is aimed at providing high-quality and affordable education to the wide strata of society in our country. The strategic partner of the project is the Dubai Future Foundation, which has already successfully implemented a similar project “One Million Arab Coders” in the United Arab Emirates.
Thanks to the project, young people get free access to online courses based on the international educational platform Udacity in the following areas: data analysis, android development, frontend and backend development. Throughout all 3 months, online courses listeners are accompanied by experienced mentors and leading IT specialists.
