IT Park residents have created a platform for unintentional writing of texts in the Uzbek language

On October 21, 1989, the law "On the state language" was adopted, making Uzbekistan even closer to becoming an independent country. It will soon be 31 years since the Uzbek language is the official state language of our country.

Today, the Uzbek language occupies a special place in our IT community. It is known not only by representatives of Uzbek nationality but also by representatives of many other nationalities who live in Uzbekistan. Moreover, knowledge of the Uzbek language makes it easy to conduct business in Uzbekistan, conduct negotiations, and communicate with entrepreneurs from different parts of our country.

Residents and start-up teams of IT Park implement many IT projects to promote the Uzbek language. And one of these projects is Matn.uz — a platform created by "Project Managers," IT Park residents, and the Public Fund for Support and Development of National Mass Media.

Matn.uz is a kind of online center for the creative use and acquisition of knowledge of the Uzbek language for everyone. One of the project's main goals is to promote impartial and competent writing of texts in the Uzbek language. Additionally, to increase the number of people in all segments of the population who write correctly and entirely in the state language, instill a love for their native language, and improve their lives through effective communication in a competent state language.

Thanks to the platform Мatn.uz, people now can quickly convert texts from the Latin alphabet to Cyrillic, edit texts with 5,000 characters at a time, find a complete dictionary explanation of words of interest, and perform many other useful operations through the platform.

What are the advantages of the platform?

The platform is based on "machine learning" technology, that is, the more you check errors, the more the system will work on itself and try to show the best results. REST API service for programmers has been created on the platform, and there is also an around-the-clock connection with the system moderator. Users can also add additional words to the dictionary database, thereby enriching it for the next users.

Knowledge of the Uzbek language is one of the fundamental factors of life in Uzbekistan. This knowledge opens many doors and opportunities for a person, introduces them to good people, and shows them a lot of new things. Knowing the Uzbek language is essential and necessary not only because of new opportunities but also because it develops a person's inner qualities, sense of patriotism, culture, and makes a person more versatile.
