IT Park Uzbekistan and G-EMx Technologies signed a memorandum

On May 25, the delegation of leading representatives of the business community and experts in the field of business and innovation from Singapore visited the office of IT Park Uzbekistan office.  The delegation included 25 people, including Singapore Business Federation Director Ray Kwan and G-EMx Technologies CEO Asmadi Bin Ahmad.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss key issues related to the development of the IT industry in Uzbekistan, and to establish links between ecosystems to expand their interaction.

The delegation was met by IT Park Deputy Director for Innovation Jahongir Radjabov, Head of the Investment and International Relations Department Nigora Mirjalilova and Head of the Startup Ecosystem Development Department Jahongir Kagirov.

The guests were presented with a capsule, which was laid by the president in 2019 at the opening ceremony of the first technology park in Uzbekistan.

Nigora Mirjalilova and Jahongir Kagirov presented the activities of IT Park Uzbekistan, highlighting its goals and achievements. They also explained the role of the organization in promoting the development of the IT industry in Uzbekistan.

After the presentation on the achievements, Deputy Director of IT Park Jakhongir Radjabov and Head of G-EMx Technologies Asmadi Bin Ahmad signed a memorandum of cooperation.

As part of the memorandum, the parties plan to establish work on the development and promotion of IT projects in Uzbekistan and Singapore. In particular, they will exchange information and experience in the field of education, the development of start-up ecosystems and the BPO sector. The parties also agreed to conduct joint projects in the field of the digital economy and support young IT entrepreneurs.

Director of the Singapore Business Federation Ray Kwan noted that cooperation between the IT industries of Uzbekistan and Singapore promises additional opportunities for the development of the national economy and strengthening mutual understanding and cultural ties between the countries.
