Minister of ICT paid a working visit to Samarkand

On June 11, the Minister of ICT Sherzod Shermatov took part in the opening ceremony of the BPO school, organized by the resident of IT Park - JV "KMS Trans SO" in Samarkand region.

KMS Trans SO operates in logistics and truck traffic control in the USA.  The company currently employs 20 young people. The company has created all the conveniences for work, employees in turn are required to know English fluently along with computer skills.

The main goal of the newly established BPO-Center is to train young people, and thereby increase the number of employees. In addition, as part of a trip to the Samarkand region, the minister took part in the opening of the new Wepro training center. Currently, approximately 100 students are gaining IT skills here in the center.

The Minister also got acquainted with the activities of the training center and talked to students.

Sherzod Shermatov emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with IT-centers and expanding the activities of the BPO centers to prepare well-qualified IT professionals.
