On January 6, 2021, at the IT Park Showroom was held an informal meeting with the rectors of the universities of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the Director of IT Park Farhod Ibragimov announced a plan of measures on creating the incubation centers in the universities of Uzbekistan and the implementation of each task. He also noted the importance of incubation centers in universities, because the ultimate goal of each center is to create conditions for nurturing worthy startups among talented university students.
The Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Madjidov Inom Urishevich, in his turn, supported this initiative and inspired the rectors of universities to assist in productive collaboration of universities with IT Park and in the opening of incubation centers.
Besides, the Director of IT Centers Abdulakhad Kuchkarov informed the guests about the activities of IT Park and about the IT Park complex construction which will be completed in 2023. Furthermore, He opened the topic of incubation centers and told the rectors of universities about the process of establishing cooperation with universities and opening incubation centers.
At the end of the meeting, the rectors of the universities promised Majidov Inom to collaborate with IT Park and begin joint work on creating incubation centers.
The rectors and universities representatives had a chance to ask questions to Farhod Ibragimov about the activities of IT Park and converse a little on the theme of IT.
It is worth noting that incubation centers are implemented on the basis of the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. DP-4851 “On measures to further improve the education system in the field of information technology, development, and integration of scientific research with the IT Industry”, PP-4699 “On measures for the widespread introduction of the digital economy and electronic government” as well as on the basis of the PCM No. 794 “On measures to develop a digitalization system in the agro-industrial complex and agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
It should be noted that the main goal of creating incubation centers at higher educational institutions is to increase the quality and number of innovative projects created among talented youth. The incubation center, in turn, will create favorable conditions for students for the emergence of effective activities of small innovative projects that implement original scientific and technical ideas.
