New IT Center has started working in the center of Bukhara!

In order to implement the 3rd initiative of the President, on June 18, 2020, a new IT Center was launched in Bukhara, equipped with modern infrastructure, designed to train the people in IT specialties and effectively use computer technologies and the internet.

 

The total area of the 4-storey building is 1.44 hectare, with an area of 4000 square meters.

The opening new center in Bukhara will create more than 1,000 job opportunities, run more than 100 new IT enterprises, get more than 35,000 new followers and improve the skills of more than 1,000 civil servants. Teachers will have the opportunity to improve their skills in the field of information technology, which in turn will be able to train more than 15 thousand students.

 

Additionally, in order to improve the practical skills of students, it is planned to conduct various practical and laboratory classes, joint projects, as well as freelance and startup projects with residents of the Bukhara Center.

It is worth noting that by the end of 2020, six more IT Centers will be opened in the Bukhara region, and by the end of 2021-thirteen IT Centers will work in all cities and districts of the region.

 

In addition, by the end of 2020, the project "One million programmers" is planned to train 134.4 thousand students in grades 7-11 in 533 secondary schools in the region. Students who have successfully completed their studies will be accepted to the University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi online.

 

As a result of implementing these measures, by the end of 2022, about 2000 qualified specialists in the field of ICT will be trained in the Bukhara region.
