Nexia Turkmenistan Plans to Establish an Office in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is actively fostering a conducive business environment to attract prominent international players in the consulting and IT sectors. A testament to this development was a recent meeting between representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan and Sergey Mineyev, Managing Partner of Nexia Turkmenistan, a member of the global network of independent accounting and consulting firms, Nexia International.

Since 2021, Nexia Turkmenistan has been part of Nexia International, which ranks 13th globally among accounting and consulting networks. Nexia International operates 790 offices across more than 125 countries, comprising over 26,000 employees and 3,470 partners within more than 270 member firms worldwide.

The company offers a comprehensive suite of services, including auditing, valuation, and consulting. Membership in IT Park presents significant opportunities for Nexia Turkmenistan, enabling the company to benefit from the favorable conditions and support programs established in Uzbekistan.

Notably, starting in 2024, companies delivering services via the internet to two or more countries, with exports constituting more than 50% of their total revenue, will be eligible for membership in IT Park.

During the meeting, representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan outlined several support programs for members aimed at mitigating risks and optimizing costs for outsourcing firms. One initiative that particularly attracted Nexia Turkmenistan’s attention was the Zero Risk Program, which provides rent-free office spaces in Uzbekistan’s regions for up to 12 months. Sergey Mineyev expressed keen interest in establishing a presence in Uzbekistan, leveraging it for expanding into international markets.

The establishment of Nexia Turkmenistan's office in Uzbekistan represents a crucial step in deepening international cooperation. Given the rapidly advancing technological infrastructure of Uzbekistan, initiatives such as this play a pivotal role in shaping a favorable business climate, supporting initiatives, reinforcing the country's position on the global market, and creating new employment opportunities for highly skilled local professionals.
