Official information on the results of the “President Tech Award” competition

From December 1 to 11 this year, online voting was conducted to determine the prize winners among the teams reaching the final stage of the “President Tech Award” competition.

Complaints were raised on social media regarding several errors made by participants during the vote collection process, sparking disputes among the competition participants.

To thoroughly examine the situation, a special working group was formed on December 13 of this year, tasked with reviewing the received appeals within the legal framework, clarifying the issue, and ensuring transparency, providing a legal assessment with the participation of lawyers and impartial experts.

During the investigation conducted by the working group,  revealed that the projects in both the special and general categories of the competition, as endorsed by the Organizing Committee, were executed in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the Regulations governing the competition procedures.

Representatives from the working group took into account the issues raised by participants in enhancement of the competitions held in following years. Considering that the selection process adhered to the existing regulatory documents and criteria approved by the Organizing Committee, it was affirmed that hosting an award ceremony for the competition winners based on votes collected on a special portal is advisable.

Furthemore, based on the experience of this year, the system for selecting the competition winners will be further refined, and considering the suggestions, public voting will not be used for determining the winners from the next year.

Recall that winners in each direction receive $100,000, runners-up $50,000, and third-place teams $30,000.Начало формы
