The first round of competitions in 13 countries was successful and attracted the attention of a global audience. He showed the world the untapped potential of developing countries, innovative solutions and talented entrepreneurs who are ready to change their ecosystems. This led to larger tours over the next six years, which brought together thousands of entrepreneurs, mentors, investors and experts. Seedstars World is now the world's largest startup competition for emerging markets.

2020 has brought a new twist to this story. The Seedstars World Tour is now online: Seedstars virtually travels the world with a 9-month program in search of the best early stage startups in 90+ countries, organizing 100+ local online events.
