Prospects of cooperation with International Agriculture University

On June 12, Oleg Khamdamov, Head of the Educational Resources Department at International Agriculture University, visited IT Park Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the future cooperation of IT Park in the field of education, as well as to get acquainted with the work already done in this sector.

The guest was welcomed by IT Park Deputy General Director of IT Park in the field of IT education Makhliyo Muksinova, as well as Manager of the Investment and International Relations Department Umida Odilova.

Representatives of IT Park presented the activities of the organization, highlighting its goals and achievements. They spoke about the process of training qualified IT personnel in Uzbekistan, mentioning such large projects as One million Uzbek coders, Coursera, IT Bilim, ITPU.  

Oleg Khamdamov noted the significant progress of Uzbekistan in the field of training qualified IT professionals and expressed interest in cooperation in this area. The parties agreed to discuss in detail possible areas of cooperation in the future, which will expand opportunities for training and development of IT competencies in Uzbekistan.

Recall that in 2022, the International Agricultural University, established by the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan jointly with the Royal Agriculture University of Great Britain (Royal Agriculture University, RAU), began its work in Tashkent.

Education there is conducted both on a paid and on a grant basis. In order for students to apply knowledge in practice, future employers, including clusters, trading companies and regional centers, are invited to cooperate with the university.
