Residents of IT Park can get earmarked-loans for IT professionals training

In accordance with the Decree (No. 556) of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan dated August 31, 2021 the IT Knowledge Development Center issues an earmarked loan on a competitive basis for training of IT professionals.

Who is the target loan (earmarked loan) for?

A targeted loan can be obtained by IT Park resident companies that operate in IT education. Beside the IT training, the obligatory conditions for obtaining a loan include a guarantee of employment for students of the course.

How to obtain earmarked loan (target loan)?

Companies willing to obtain a loan must:

• fill out the application form and the applicant's questionnaire;

• develop a business plan;

• secure in the form of collateral, guarantee of a third party or insurance;

• provide copies of the certificate of state registration and constituent documents;

• provide documents confirming that the applicant is not in the process of reorganization, liquidation or bankruptcy;

• provide other documents requested by the Center, necessary for studying the financial condition of the applicant, including those confirming the absence of debts.

Applications are accepted by the Center for the IT Knowledge Development without prior arrangement, documents are considered by a specially formed Expert Council of the Center.

The amount of earmarked loan depends on the number of professionals the company is planning to train, and how many students it aims to employ.  The term and annual percentage of the loan is determined by the conclusion of the Expert Council.
