Residents of IT Park "MayaSoft" finished working on a new technological solution for accepting international bank cards 

A resident of IT Park, Maya soft, has ended developing a solution for accepting contactless payments based on Visa Tap to Phone technology.

In July 2018, MayaSoft LLC started creating a new payment infrastructure for the Uzbek market. The solution is based on an international Visa Tap to Phone technologies. Our partner bank, "Orient Finans Bank," has been actively developing digital solutions and providing convenient service conditions to both large corporate clients and small and medium-sized businesses for ten years. Thus, the first joint solution for contactless payments, "Marta.uz" appeared.

 How does this work?

 Payment is made using both contact payment cards via a card reader (mPoS) and contactless payment cards via the smart phone's built-in NFC interface.

The system can work without the Internet, using the GSM network. Security meets the requirements of the EMV L1&L2 and PCI DSS security standards. Operations are confirmed by entering a PIN code on a certified keyboard. None of your payment details and the map are not stored in the reader or smartphone. All data is transmitted only in encrypted form.

A complete set of analytical tools is always at your fingertips. In your personal account, you can view and download reports on each terminal's operation and monitor the actual location of the terminal when making a payment. You can also access information on products and services, sales and balances, revenue calculations, reports and Analytics, and employee management. Entrepreneurs will be able to track the payment's geographical location, which will help them control travel services and optimize logistics costs.

 Visa Tap to Phone technology allows you to turn your smartphone into a POS-terminal without additional equipment and download and install it. It means that small retail and service businesses and private entrepreneurs can accept contactless payments using modern mobile devices. Customers will be able to make payments in seconds by directly attaching their contactless card, phone, or watch to the seller's smartphone with the Visa Tap to Phone solution.

The new "Marta" solution based on Visa Tap to Phone will expand the payment acceptance infrastructure in Uzbekistan, which, in turn, will accelerate the introduction of digital payments and strengthen confidence in them among consumers.
