Results of the “Demo Day” of the Central Asian project “Tumaris.Tech”

On October 15, 2022, the long-awaited Demo Day of the Tumaris.Tech project took place, where 23 teams presented their business projects.

It should be noted that a total of 148 applications were submitted for participation in the Tumaris.Tech competition, of which 71 teams were selected for Pitch Day, which took place on July 15, 2022.  Based on the results of Pitch Day, 29 projects continued their education in the incubation program and 17 projects in the acceleration program with the support of foreign mentors and experts.  As a result, 23 projects were able to go through all the stages and reach the Demo Day.

Incubation and acceleration programs were conducted in Russian for 3 months in an online format.  As part of the programs, the participants received educational and strategic sessions with international experts, tracking with trained specialists, financial literacy courses, oratory and time management workshops, consultations on issues of interest, networking among the startup community.

The partner Wonder Women was responsible for the educational content of both programs in terms of speakers. The community has the strongest Wonder Women Mentorship program. The best experts and experienced specialists from all over Central Asia in such areas as IT, marketing, entrepreneurship, product management, customer service, and so on, acting as mentors, shared their knowledge within the framework of incubation and acceleration.

Projects presented by the participants at Demo Day:

Incubation:

• Eyesea – a bracelet for the blind and visually impaired people, powered by the ARDUINO platform;
• Cardio Vessel – a project with a two-phase mathematical model for calculating the blood flow velocity in blood clots and plaques in cardiovascular diseases;
• Tidbit – the first application to combat the problem of food waste in Uzbekistan;
• ECONote – a platform for students to write and submit their work, follow school activities, chat with other students and teachers, and view study materials;
• DermaMarker – an application that scans neoplasms on the body and analyzes them according to several characteristics;
• Kamkor – a project to provide assistance to working mothers;
• TABIGAT – service for the protection of nature;
• ArtRoom – a platform for interior customers, furniture manufacturers and designers;
• Elcart.Islam is a digital Islamic financial service in Central Asia;
• TAGLINE APP – a platform for management accounting from the purchase of materials to the sale of finished products;
• Find analysis yourself is an application for finding clinics where you can take various medical tests at the best price and location;
• Bal Til is an AI-based project for corrective care for speech delay.

Acceleration:

• ADU24 – a universal e-commerce platform;
• Growy Me – a platform for helping people achieve their important goals more effectively;
• My Dars is a social project to provide an opportunity for a student to find a tutor, and for tutor to find a student;
• GradUz – a project to improve the quality of education and reduce unemployment among college and university graduates;
• Tilzone is the first online language platform in Kyrgyzstan that offers the study of English and Russian using a new effective methodology;
• Tutor ON is a platform for learning foreign languages;
• audaru.com — a multilingual online terminological dictionary for the languages ​​of Central Asia;
• MyHealth is a mobile application for storing digitized medical reports, as well as a convenient “reminder” for taking vitamins and medicines;
• We in Crypto is a platform with an online school on digital financial literacy, the release of NFT-collections, as well as incubation programs and events to promote WEB3.0-solutions and opportunities;
• Chance – assistant in the search for contests and events;
• Onlayn Hamshira – a platform for providing the necessary services of nurses at home and in hospitals 24/7;
• Ayol Uchun is a cultural and educational platform for women.

In addition, following the results of the Demo Day, TOP 10 projects got the opportunity to visit the international exhibition of startup projects in Tashkent, which will be held in March 2023:
