Results of the visit of the Minister of ICT to Navoi region

Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov paid a working visit to Navoi region.

As part of the trip, he got acquainted with the progress of the construction of a new building of IT Park branch, which is being built by the Khokimiyat of Navoi region.

The building under construction is planned to accommodate 2 incubation centers, one IT-technicum, 2 BPO and 2 co-working centers, which will create more than 150 jobs in total.

Sherzod Khotamovich talked to the employees of the branch and IT specialists working in the industry. He got acquainted with the works and projects implemented by them, and representatives of the branch spoke about the activities of the organization and events planned to be held before the end of the year.

The head of the ministry gave his recommendations on expanding the activities of the regional branch of IT Park and increasing the export of services to foreign countries.

In addition, as part of the trip, Sherzod Khotamovich held an open dialogue with young IT specialists at the regional branch of IT Park.

The Minister of ICT discussed with the students of the centers the existing problems in the industry and opportunities for future IT specialists.

In turn, in a conversation with young people, Sherzod Shermatov noted how important it is to improve their knowledge and skills so that in the future they become competitive and highly qualified IT specialists, and wished them success in their further studies and work.

The meeting ended with a question and answer session between the minister and the youth.
