On September 3, the Astrum IT Academy hosted the republican stage of one of the largest competitions, the FIRST Global Challenge 2022 robotics competition.
The fight for victory was intense. 30 teams from 11 regions of Uzbekistan came together in the battle for the title.
A team can include only 3-4 students. The number of team members or adult technical mentors/coaches was not limited. However, official credentials are given to a maximum of four student and one adult mentor/coach to participate in the event.
According to the results, the following teams were ranked as the winners:
• 1st: “Robots and me kids” from Bukhara;
• 2nd: “RoboUp” from Tashkent;
• 3rd: “Robots and me” from Bukhara.
Now the team that won the first place will represent Uzbekistan at the FIRST Global Challenge in Geneva, Switzerland, which takes place from October 13 to 16, 2022.
