Statistics for the first half of 2020 of IT Park residents ' activities for more than a year

IT Park has been actively developing the IT sector and creating favorable conditions for promoting software and high-tech products and services in the domestic and foreign markets of Uzbekistan. Thus, IT Park fully supports and develops the country's IT companies, promotes them in the domestic and foreign markets, and helps attract foreign investment.   Thanks to the comprehensive support, many IT companies show great interest and desire to become part of IT Park, namely, to become a resident of IT Park, which in turn will allow the company to develop even more, as well as help to scale and expand beyond the borders of Uzbekistan.   Legal entities can become residents of IT Park, regardless of their place of state registration on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Upon obtaining the status of our resident, IT companies are automatically exempt from paying all types of taxes and mandatory contributions to state trust funds, as well as social payments and customs payments until January 1, 2028.

Currently, 412 residents are registered in IT Park, of which 14 companies were created with the participation of foreign capital. According to the results of the first half of 2020, 116 IT companies received the status of it Park resident, 28 of them were created in 2020.

Out of 412 residents, 250 residents carry out their activities in the field of computer programming and consulting, 79 provide services for the placement and processing of data and WEB portals, 67 provide services for the production of software and 16 residents carry out activities in the field of information technology training.  In 2017 the total number of employees are residents of the IT Park was 2 523 people. In 2018, this figure increased to 3,045 people. By the end of 2019, the number of employees of resident companies was 4,584. In the first half of 2020, the total number of employees of IT companies increased by 116 and amounted to 4,700 professionals in their field.

According to the results of the first half of 2020, the volume of services rendered to residents amounted to 361.4 billion rubles. sum (for the first quarter of 2020 171,6 billion soums) compared to the same period last year, the growth rate was 177 % (at the end of the first quarter of 2020 of 186.1%), while exports of services amounted to 6.4 million US dollars (for the first quarter of 2020, 3.8 million U.S. dollars). The growth is more than 5.8 times compared to last year.  Out of 412 residents, 48 companies are export-oriented. The main markets are the United States, Sweden, great Britain, Korea, Dubai, Israel, the Netherlands, Norway and the CIS countries.  The doors of IT Park are always open for new IT companies.
