IT Park continues the column of interesting stories about young programmers. Todayʼs guest is 20-year-old Javohir Gulomjonov. Our hero is currently studying in the 2nd course of the Faculty of Management at the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology. He is a Web Frontend developer.
The entry into the programming began during the quarantine period. At that time, the father of our hero brought the first personal laptop. After that, he started studying it and performed daily tasks on this laptop.
“I accidentally broke my laptop, took it to the master, and changed its software for 40,000 sums. Then the idea began to form that there is a lot of money in programming. One day I noticed a project called “Uzbekcoders” (One million Uzbek Coders). I started learning web programming through its video lessons”.
Javohir says that it is impossible to get perfect knowledge through online classes. Because he believes that finding solutions to problems comes after working with an experienced specialist.
“I learned the basics of programming as much as possible, and then I started looking for a mentor to ask what I didnʼt understand. Initially, I searched in the region where I live, that is, in Fergana. I found Islom Davlatov from Pop district. I asked them about the issues I did not know about. After that, the interest increased and the learning accelerated. I learned front-end, we did several projects, and I worked as a front-end developer in smart reception (reception for the khokim of the region), Kosmos chodak (hotel – $800 for the tourist area), and other similar projects”.
According to our hero, after these projects, he got a job at the Pop IT school and taught a number of students. He is still working on projects.
The average monthly income is $400-$500. In the future, the production of smart systems aims to make peopleʼs work easier.
Javohir shows by his example that anyone with passion can become IT specialist. The main thing is to strive, work, and interest in learning. And IT Centers help to realize these goals. Maybe you will be the next hero of our column?
