Talented youth received presidential gifts

On January 21, 2021, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the IT Park branch in Bukhara.

The President, during his visit, conversed with young and talented IT representatives in Bukhara, as well as with freelancers and startup founders. He highly appreciated the potential of the youth of Bukhara and highlighted that IT sphere plays a significant role in the development of our country.

Besides, on January 22, 2021, the founders of the “Imam Bukhari” startup, who became the winner of the “mGovAward” competition on the development of the best state mobile applications, as well as the ambitious freelancer Shakhrillo Tukhsanov, were awarded gifts of the Head of State in the amount of $3,000 to each one for the further development of their projects and activities.

The Director of IT Park Farkhod Ibragimov, the Deputy Director of IT Park for Regional Development Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, as well as local youth and other representatives of IT sphere in Bukhara participated at the awarding ceremony.

During the awarding ceremony, Farkhod Ibrahimov noted that not everyone is given a chance to personally meet with the President of the country and they were lucky to present their projects and reveal their potential in front of the President. He also expressed his hope and wished the young specialists to be granted with a chance to present to the Head of State even better and more promising projects.
