Tashkent will host “Uzbekistan Outsourcing Forum”

On October 26th, as part of the third day of ICTWEEK UZBEKISTAN 2023, the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Forum will convene foreign experts and representatives of local and international IT companies.

The objective of this event is to promote the prospects of IT outsourcing development in Uzbekistan.

The forum will commence with the screening of a video dedicated to the eventʼs inauguration. The introductory speech will be delivered by Mr. Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The forum will feature speakers:

• Mr. Farhod Ibrahimov, the General Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, will address the topic “Uzbekistan: A Hub for IT Outsourcing.”
• Mr. Loren Moss, Site Selector, will elucidate the attractiveness of the Uzbek outsourcing market.
• Ms. Courtney Fingar, an expert from FDI Advisory, will delve into the strategic directions for outsourcing development in Uzbekistan.
• Mr. Andrew Vrobel, an entrepreneur and consultant, will provide an overview of global trends in the BPO sector and their impact on Uzbekistan.

The event will also feature presentations by resident companies, where each of the speakers will provide insights into their respective companies within a 10 minute.

On the forum, an announcement will be made regarding the opening of offices for “Cappersoft” and “Programmers Force” in Uzbekistan, as well as a branch of “Bocasay” company in Jizzakh as part of the Zero Risk program. Furthermore, the BPO expert Lauren Moss will conduct a training session with the export department team, imparting effective methods for attracting foreign companies and investments.

The forum will conclude with a panel discussion, during which participants will deliberate on talent reserves, strategies, opportunities, and challenges of Uzbekistan. The forum will bring together over 200 representatives from foreign and local IT companies.
