Tashkent hosted the European Union — Central Asia Think Tank Forum titled "The Tashkent Platform: Building Bridges between Europe and Central Asia", organized by the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA). The event served as a pivotal platform for expert discussions and the formulation of practical recommendations aimed at enhancing cooperation between the European Union and Central Asian countries.
Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, participated in the panel discussion "Technology and Artificial Intelligence: Unlocking the Potential of Digital Cooperation between the EU and Central Asia". The session focused on the prospects of utilizing AI and digital technologies to advance digital infrastructure, enhance public administration, and drive economic growth. Particular emphasis was placed on IT service exports, collaboration in artificial intelligence, and technological exchange.

Abdulahad Kuchkarov underscored Uzbekistan’s emergence as Central Asia’s leading IT hub, offering favorable conditions for international IT companies and export-oriented developers.
"Central Asia is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation, and Uzbekistan plays a pivotal role in this process. We are actively fostering the growth of the IT sector and creating an enabling environment for the expansion of IT services. Through IT Park, member companies benefit from tax incentives, access to international educational initiatives, and business scaling opportunities. European companies can leverage this potential to expand their technology projects and develop innovative joint solutions," he stated.
