The CEO of Huawei visited IT Park

On December 13, 2021, a delegation led by Huawei CEO Liu Jiaxing visited IT Park.

IT Park Director Farkhod Ibrahimov, Deputy Director of IT Park for International Activities Bokhoir Ayupov, Deputy Director of IT Park for Regional Development Abdullahad Kuchkarov, Expert on cloud solutions Huawei Liu Sai and others also took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the positive dynamics of the development of IT education in Uzbekistan, as well as educational projects implemented by IT Park. It was noted that, to date, there are incubation centres in 25 higher educational establishments in the country where students carry out their start-up projects. The possibility of creating joint projects between IT Park and Huawei to support ICT professionals and young talent was also discussed.

Huawei CEO Liu Jiaxing emphasized that Uzbekistan has a large number of young talents with great potential in the IT sphere.

As a result, the parties expressed an interest in cooperation as well as joint activities. In particular, the parties planned to hold training sessions with the subsequent certification of specialists with a view to increasing digital knowledge and exchanging experience through the involvement of international experts, etc.
