On November 14, 2022, as part of a visit to Stuttgart, Germany, a delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov met with Plug&Play Germany Managing Director Sasha Karimpur and Corporate Partnership Manager in Stuttgart Felix Lammers.
During the meeting, Felix Lammer gave the guests a meaningful presentation on the history of the Plug&Play organization, the paths traveled and achievements to date. During the presentation, information was given on the mechanisms of the enterprise and expected achievements in the near future.
Today, Plug&Play has 47 branches around the world and collaborates with more than 50,000 startups. After the presentation, the speakers met with representatives of the Uzbek delegation and exchanged ideas on what projects they could work on together in the future.
On the same day, a meeting was held with the director of Arena2036, Peter Froeschle. The head of the company told our delegation about the activities of the company and the research work currently being carried out by students at the University of Stuttgart. Arena2036 is a 10,000 sq.m. research center that has become a platform for the development of high-tech tech and IT start-ups. The platform brings together over 40 universities, companies and research organizations.
After getting to know the participants, Peter Froeschle invited the members of the delegation to a tour of the center in order to get acquainted with the research carried out at the center. During the tour, they got acquainted with autonomous warehouse devices based on artificial intelligence, 5G technology booth, robots for mechanical engineering and prototypes of alternative energy vehicles. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in creating an international platform for the exchange of knowledge within the framework of mutual cooperation.
