The first wave of ‘Hello Hosts’ educational podcast incubator completed

The ‘Hello Hosts’ program was launched by UZCARD in partnership with IT Park, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Office for Innovation and Technology Transfer.

Podcast incubator ‘Hello Hosts’ is a program aimed at supporting and developing the educational podcasting industry in Uzbekistan where residents receive mentoring and services from the UZCARD corporate podcast studio, as well as assistance in launching their own podcast channel on social platforms for free.

The program lasted 6 months. By the end, 7 residents of the incubator launched podcast channels (more than 100 episodes) on various topics:

• Education and financial literacy;

• Startups and new technologies;

• Venture investments;

• Financial and banking technologies;

• Healthy lifestyle and more.

Podcasts are available on telegram bot and on the project website.

Residents of the first wave of ‘Hello Hosts’ were:

• Latipov Rodion: ‘PROФинансы’ - a podcast about finance;

• Muratov Bahovuddin and Dadajonov Shokhmir: ‘Xomcho't’, an Uzbek-language podcast created by former auditors of ‘Big Four’ to improve listeners' financial literacy;

• Alina Tyo: ‘Run or Lie’ («Бежать или лежать») - a podcast features the unique stories of people whose lives have changed for the better thanks to sports;

• Marat and Aliana Smagin: ‘Tingla Podcast’ - a father and daughter have a dialogue in which the daughter has clear questions about a specific topic. The task of the father is to explain each of the terms, considering the current youth trends;

• Feruza Kamalitdinova: ‘Cozy Tales’ («Уютные сказки») - a podcast about the fairy tales for children.
