The IT Park incubation center was opened in the Tashkent branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics!

On October 28, 2020, the IT Park incubation center was officially opened in the branch of the Russian University of Economics named  Plekhanov G.V.










The opening ceremony was attended by the Director of IT Park, Farkhod Ibragimov, the Rector of the University, Qalandar Abdurakhmanov, as well as other representatives of the university management and students.

The first speaker was the Rector of the University, Qalandar Abdurakhmanov, who congratulated all those present on the opening of the incubation center at the University and wished the students good luck in their future achievements.



During the event, the Director of IT Park, Farkhod Ibragimov, said that IT Park itself is a startup created by the state. He also noted the importance of creating incubation centers at higher educational institutions since many IT companies were initially developed in the form of startups during the student years of their founders, so he expressed hope that our students will be able to continue to be Directors of the largest IT companies.


In addition, Farkhod Ibragimov emphasized the fact that when creating a successful startup, you need to have patience, as well as knowledge and skills, in order to implement your project and reach the global level./

A special guest speaker was the founder of VRonica, Akmal Salikhov, who shared his experience in technology entrepreneurship.

Akmal Salikhov also shared his thoughts on the startup ecosystem in the country and other developed countries, such as Estonia and others. He emphasized the importance of having the right team around to develop a startup and achieve heights.

Also, at the opening of the incubation center, the Brand Ambassador of IT Park, a student of the Tashkent branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Shahzod Narzullayev, made a presentation and spoke about the prospects and plans of training in this incubation center.

It should be noted that incubation centers at higher educational institutions are necessary to increase innovative projects created among talented young people. Incubation centers, in turn, will create favorable conditions for students to develop practical small creative projects that implement original scientific and technical ideas.




The long-term goals and objectives of incubation centers are:

- development of the country's economy;

- development of highly innovative technologies in Uzbekistan;

- development of small business of innovative orientation, providing favorable conditions for conducting project activities for students;

- networking between students and experienced professionals;

- the creation of vacancies.

Incubation centers are also designed to commercialize students 'innovative developments from the "idea" to the start of production and the first successful sales.

The program of the first stream of the incubation center at the branch of the Russian University of Economics named Plekhanov G.V. in Tashkent will include six modules, namely:

1. Setting goals

2. Determination of possibilities of the project

3. Search and confirm the problem being solved

4. Business modeling

5. Product creation and finding a niche

6. Dimension of the product and attract users.

All of the work mentioned above will be carried out so that students can get not only theoretical but also practical knowledge about how to create and promote their projects.

The opening ceremony was held offline at the University.
