The Japanese company CICC published an article about the meeting with IT Park in Tokyo

The Japanese organization Center of the International Cooperation for Computerization (CICC) published an article on its website about the visit of representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, which took place earlier, on July 20.

The article notes the successful operation of the IT Park and the privileges for IT companies that become its residents. The company writes that currently, about 1,500 companies are residents of the IT Park, including 300 foreign companies. These companies are exempt from corporate taxes, import customs duties, and a single social tax. Such benefits make IT Park an attractive place for business development in the field of information technology.

The article also notes that Japanese companies have not yet managed to become residents of the IT Park. Despite the advantages provided by the organization, many Japanese companies have not yet realized its potential. CICC representatives, in turn, assured that they will continue to disseminate information about trends in the field of IT in Uzbekistan and promote cooperation. We recall that the working visit of the IT Park delegation to Japan lasted from July 16 to 22. The main purpose of the trip was to present the IT potential of Uzbekistan and introduce Japanese entrepreneurs to business opportunities in the country through unprecedented programs and benefits provided by IT Park.

During the meeting of representatives of IT Park and CICC, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint projects in the field of digital economy, support for entrepreneurs, development of IT education, and startup ecosystem. CICC specialists have shown interest in the possibility of training BPO specialists who speak Japanese and are also exploring options for Japanese companies to enter the Uzbek market.
