The Minister of ICT met with students of IT-Center in Samarkand

On August 23, the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov visited the regional branch of IT Park as part of his trip to Samarkand region.

During the visit, Sherzod Khotamovich talked with the employees of the branch and IT-specialists working in the industry. The Minister got acquainted with the works and projects they have implemented, and representatives of the branch spoke about the activities of the organization and events planned to be held before the end of the year.

The head of the ministry gave his recommendations on expanding the activities of Samarkand branch of IT Park and increasing the export of services to foreign countries.

In addition, the Minister of ICT expressed gratitude to industry specialists for the contribution they make to the development of the industry and said that he is always ready to support new ideas and projects.

After that, Sherzod Shermatov met with students of Samarkand city IT-Center, opened at IT Park. He carefully watched the course of their lesson, and then talked to the students.

In a conversation with young people, Sherzod Khotamovich emphasized that in the future they should become excellent and successful IT-specialists, and wished them success in their further studies and work.

As the minister noted, providing quality education for young people and creating sufficient conditions for them is the key to attracting young talents in the field of ICT and further increasing interest in this industry.
