The story of IT specialist: a robotics mentor who wins competitions

When a person has a desire to become the best IT-specialist, then even fears and doubts will not stop him. Nietulla Abdullaev, the manager of the IT Center of Nukus District, proved this by his own example.

Nietulla is 24 years old. He graduated from the Faculty of Computer Engineering of the Nukus branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies in the direction of IT-service.

As the hero of the story admits, since childhood he had a craving for technology and robotics.

“Despite the fact that I had a love for robotics as a child, my interest in the IT field and the opportunity to study the field appeared only at the age of 22. I had a rather vague idea of the IT sphere. Theory is one thing, but what will happen in practice is a poor idea. It can be said that I plunged headlong into IT, not fully understanding what awaits me. Of course, at first there were doubts, because I had a stable job in sales. But I started to study programming languages and IT-direction in general and realized what I like”.

In fact, all expectations were met: a fast pace of work, a lot of activities and constant development, serious projects, a pleasant atmosphere – he found all this in the IT industry.

Since 2021, Nietulla has officially started working as a mentor in mobile robotics.

“In a short time of teaching, two groups graduated from my courses. I confess that I love teaching. Children have an amazing imagination, and working with them I am so charged with energy, positive and inspiration that I am ready to move mountains!”

By the way, he receives inspiration not only from young geniuses. Nietulla says that difficulties are one of the biggest motivators in his work.

“In my field, it is very important to work with real sensors, but there is practically no such possibility. I think desperation pushed me to big breakthroughs and new life hacks. It hardens and gives the feeling that a person can do anything if he really wants to”.

There is no doubt that Nietulla himself can do anything. Behind the young genius is an impressive list of victories. In 2019, he was a delegate of the international conference Union X, where representatives of different countries took part. The conference serves as a platform for the younger generation to model the largest and most influential organizations that deal with global and socio-economic issues.

“We held conferences in a game format, which helped us to easily make friends with other participants and find a common language. This conference is a simulation of 9 international organizations and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main goal of this conference is to familiarize young people with the principles of international law, increase their legal awareness and potential, stimulate efforts to educate a generation worthy to make a worthy contribution to the good of our country”.

In 2021, Nietulla took part in the republican final stage of the contest “100 Ideas for Uzbekistan”, where he won 10 million soums from the Youth Agency of Uzbekistan.

In 2022, he was part of the winning team in the Business Acceleration Program for Women in Technology and Climate Change.  In addition, Nietulla took part in the “green” startup competition, which was held in Nukus for youth, where he was declared the winner and won $2,000.

Currently, Nietulla earns from $700 a month and proves by his own example that success comes to those who work tirelessly.
