The winner of the national selection of Uzbekistan in the framework of the “Red Bull Basement” competition has been determined: who made it to the final and will go to Austria?

We are ready to announce the winner of the national final in the framework of the “Red Bull Basement” competition, which started on September 1 this year.

Let us remind you that “Red Bull Basement” is a major international event from “Red Bull”, the national partner of which is IT Park.  Within the framework of the competition, young students – participants had to present interesting, creative, and most importantly, technological ideas that could change the world for the better.

The goal of the competition is to unite and inspire students to change in a constructive manner and have a positive impact on the world now and in the future.

The participants went through several stages, and in particular, they came up with a cool idea and recorded a video in English / Russian, gave their idea a form and waited for the results of the jury.  Any idea that solves an acute problem of society was welcomed.

A total of 4,041 applications were received from all over the world.  12 teams applied for participation in Uzbekistan.  The project “E-med” became the winner.  There are 44 national finalists from around the world.

The “E-med” project is a platform in the form of a mobile application and a website that stores personalized medical data (current treatment, diagnoses, previous analyzes, tests, MSCT, X-rays, etc.) and which connects the patient with a doctor.  The project targets to digitize medical data in paper format.  This will increase the reliability of information about the patient’s health, as well as ensure the safety and confidentiality of personal information, the availability of a medical history in one click, the durability of patient medical records, the convenience of sharing medical records and laboratory results between doctors, reducing mortality through appropriate treatment of patients, and so forth.

At the international final, the finalists will bring their projects to a finished product, with the help of international experts, mentors and other like-minded people.  After that, the participants will make final presentations, and the team awarded the title of the winner of the international final in 2021 will receive a set of special resources necessary to translate their idea into reality.
