On July 16 this year, an award ceremony for 3 teachers of computer science and information technology was held in IT Park as part of the Top 100 Teachers competition from the One Million Uzbek Coders project.
Within the framework of the One Million Uzbek Coders project, which was created by IT Park with the support of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a competition "Top 100 teachers of computer science and information technologies" was organized, among which 3 places went to the teachers of informatics from Tashkent.
In this regard, on July 16, 2021, an event was organized in IT Park on the occasion of the awarding of computer science and information technology teachers who were included in the list of "Top 100 Teachers". The results of the competition were revealed by the number of their students who completed the One Million Uzbek Coders courses.
The main participants of the event were IT Park Deputy Director for Innovation Jakhongir Rajabov, Chief Specialist for Monitoring the Implementation of IT Park Educational Projects Nodira Rakhimzhanova, Project Manager Nurbek Khaidarov.
The winning teachers were awarded by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications and IT Park with certificates and cash prizes in the amount of 4.9 million soums.
Holding such competitions stimulates the growth of the number of qualified IT specialists and teachers of computer science in the country. The One Million Uzbek Coders project is not limited by this, but seeks to further raise awareness of the population about information technologies and trends in the world.
