Uzbek-Russian round table was held in IT Park

On October 14, 2020, IT Park hosted an Uzbek-Russian round table, as well as a presentation of the expert system “virtual office of a Russian language teacher Classcom,“ which was attended by the Deputy Director of IT Park for international activities, Bokhodir Ayupov, a representative of the Russian State Pedagogical University. Herzen, program coordinator, “Class!“, Andrey Tsvetkov, Director of “Elektron e-education street,“ the resident of IT Park, the developer of the expert system Virtual office teacher “Classcom,“ head of the ICT Department of UzSWLU, Muhamadjon Aliyev, project manager of “Establishment of smart classrooms of Russian language based on rural schools and equipping libraries,“ “Organization of training seminars for Russian language teachers,“ the coordinator of the project “Virtual office of a teacher of Russian language” and the First Uzbek-Russian competition “the Best teacher of Uzbekistan” – “New horizons”, Saodat Gafurovna and other representatives of the parties

The round table was organized to discuss further cooperation in teaching Russian in secondary schools of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is known that earlier Russian entrepreneur and billionaire Alisher Usmanov supported training Russian language teachers in Uzbekistan. The project was signed in Tashkent and has already been launched with the Ministry of education of Russia, the Ministry of public knowledge of Uzbekistan, and the Alisher Usmanov charitable Foundation. The program was called – “Класс!“ (“The best!“). Russian education is a joint project that will help strengthen the partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia in the humanitarian sphere and improve the quality of teaching Russian and General education subjects in Russian in Uzbekistan. In this regard, the Fund of entrepreneur Alisher Usmanov allocated $ 5 million to develop this project.

Russian language teachers will regularly visit Uzbekistan in early 2021 as part of the project to monitor and diagnose the level of Russian language teaching in the country and implement and develop recommendations and methods for education and improving its level by students and teachers.

In this regard, within the framework of the round table, Bokhodir Ayupov acquainted the participants of the round table with the activities of IT Park, as well as told about the goals and objectives of the organization. Representatives of the Russian state pedagogical University named after Herzen, in turn, introduced the participants to the project “Класс!“

During the round table, the expert system “virtual teacherʼs office Classcom,“ created for teachers of Russian language and literature, was presented.

Thanks to Classcom, teachers can use all the resources necessary for the educational process in a convenient modern interface. Classcom provides everyone with normative documents, textbooks and manuals, original lesson designs, multimedia presentations, handouts, audio and video fragments, tables, and smart maps. Moreover, all resources are selected by experienced experts and meet the State educational standard and program. All information is stored on the server, on the main computer in the city of Tashkent.

Classcom also has a unique class schedule organizer. It provides quick access to a list of electronic resources on a specific topic. You do not need to scroll through the pages, choosing the subject, class, and title of the lesson topic. Just click, for example, on the third lesson today or tomorrow according to the schedule, and a list of all resources for this lesson will appear. The teacher has to choose the appropriate one for specific students or supplement the available options for methodological developments with the provided didactic materials, audio recordings, or video fragments.

Also, in the Classcom expert system, users have the opportunity to publish their authorʼs materials (after their evaluation by an expert Commission) in the thematic plan module or the sections “Extracurricular Activities,“ “Circle,“ “Reference school” for the dissemination of advanced teaching experience.

Virtual classroom of a teacher Classcom regularly holds competitions for the best lesson development. The results of the contest are covered in the newspaper “Учитель Узбекистана,“ materials are published in the magazine “Преподавание языка и литературы,“ on the website of the Republican center of education.

Following the meeting, further cooperation between all parties and different implementation of the Classcom project were discussed.
