UZCARD and GK “Innotech” with the support of IT Park launched a free education course on training of IT-engineers

On February 1, 2022 UZCARD, together with GK “Innotech”, with the support of IT Park, launched the international educational course “DevOps, OpenShift and how to live with it in fintech”.

This project is free. It will be attended by 26 engineers who have passed the qualifying round.

Purpose and content of the course

The course “DevOps, OpenShift and how to live with it in fintech” is aimed at improving the skills and professional growth of engineers in Uzbekistan in one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing business segments – the sphere of high technologies.

The program was formed by leading developers, taking into account the applied experience of corporations in the implementation of various IT-tasks.  The program will include 8 training webinars with a deep theoretical part, supported by practical tasks.

Prehistory of selection for an educational course

As noted earlier, the educational course will be free of charge.  26 participants were selected from over a thousand applicants.  The selection took place through special testing for professional knowledge, as well as interviews with the finalists.  At the same time, 103 candidates showed exceptional engineering training, which demonstrates a high level of knowledge of the subject among specialists in this area in Uzbekistan.

What will the participants get at the end?

Upon completion of the training, the best graduates will receive a unique opportunity for internships and employment, both in the companies organizing the educational program and in other international partner companies.

The importance and relevance of the project

The relevance of the project is dictated by the need for continuous training of IT-engineers in order to effectively respond to the challenges of global business.  Global trends demonstrate the need for continuous skill development, especially in the digital and high-tech sectors.  Surveys conducted by Stack Overflow showed that 75% of developers acquire a number of new skills per year, and 50% update their knowledge within a few months.  Continuous education based on the concept of “life-long learning” allows specialists to feel more in demand and versatile, which, in turn, opens up new career prospects for them.

The educational course “DevOps, OpenShift and how to live with it in fintech” is realized within the framework of the agreement on cooperation in the sphere of development of digital economy, concluded between UZCARD company and GK “Innotech” within the framework of the international forum “Kazan Digital Week 2021”.
