On June 7, IT Park Uzbekistan was visited by SAS Senior Account Manager Haktan Hamit Ishchi and SAS Digital Transformation and Innovation Leading Specialist Altan Atabarut.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss the future cooperation between IT Park and SAS, as well as to get acquainted with the plans of both parties for the coming years.
The guests were welcomed by IT Park Executive Director Abdulahad Kuchkarov, Deputy Director for Education Development Makhliyo Muksinova and International Cooperation Manager Umida Odilova.
The guests were told about the main directions of IT Park, namely: about the support and initiatives that come from the government of Uzbekistan for the development of the IT sector in the economy, about human capital and the potential of the Central Asian region, as well as about the young population of Uzbekistan, around which the entire strategy for improving this industry is being implemented.
During the meeting, government support for the development of IT and BPO and the task set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on measures to further develop a favorable business climate were considered. They also discussed the free economic zone that IT Park provides to its resident companies, the work to reform IT education and create a critical mass of young IT specialists. The guests noted the positive changes that have taken place in the field of IT in recent years in Uzbekistan.
Much attention was paid to cooperation between SAS and IT Park in order to create new opportunities for IT specialists and companies in Uzbekistan. The parties shared their plans for international projects and discussed the next steps for cooperation.
